Duel links meta red eyess9/3/2023 It has high ATK and its effect pretty much ensures that your opponent can't use spell/trap/handtrap when it attacks or gets attacked, which still works if your opponent attacks into it when it's facedown if it gets hit with something like Floodgate Trap Hole or Book of Moon. You can then fusion summon Archfiend Black Skull Dragon by using Red-Eyes Fusion. I run phantom knights and we have some really cool dark dragons that are fun to play.Use Red-Eyes Roulette skill to add a Summoned Skull to your deck. Oh also I saw someone earlier get to plat one with galaxy eyes, kind of a similar gig where you can make some cool xyz dragons and get really big. I'm building blue eyes right now that I got to plat one so I can just goof around, having one competitive deck and one casual deck can be a good balance so once if you get burnt out you can just play for fun. I've found some weird decks that run fun combinations of things on there. Masterduelmeta is a good website where you can look up any card and find a list of decks that run them. You could look into combos centered around rank 7 monsters, one that comes to mind is galaxy tomahawk (banned in TCG, but I think legal in MD). If you lean into the fusion build you could consider floodgates, as much as I dislike them, that stop your opponent from popping off while you can just recur big monsters all day. You have a lot of ways to get back monsters so board wipes shouldn't be a problem for you. Pure red-eyes build reliying more on traditionaly powerful backrow (torrential, solemn cards, etc.). This would probably give you a field of 2-3 interractions easily, something like hiearatic spheres, borreload savage, the fang with chain to steal a monster, etc. Well right of the bat a mostly pure red eyes deck is probably not even rogue playable in competitive play, but if you're looking for a deck that will do alright in the lower tiers here's a couple of suggestions:Ī red-eyes engine supported by traditional dragon link combo cards and extenders.
