If we need help, the support from Out of the Sandbox has allways been great. We have updated the Turbo-Portland theme from Shopify to the new Shopify 2.0 theme with no problems, using Theme Updater Plus. In my opinion the cost of both the plans are easy to justify, if you run a business with revenue. Please note their app have two price points, one with support within 3 days, and one with priority support. If some code will not be transferred, we are notified of that in the app. When using this, all changes we have made are included into the new updated version. We have a website with many 3rd party apps, and a 3rd party Theme Editor. However, the themes from Out of the Sandbox offers a Automatic Theme Updater. You need then to download the newest theme, and do all the customization once again (this can take much time / have a high cost). You can hire an expert to help out with this update.Be aware of that many 3rd Party Themes does not offer Automatic Theme Updates. Instead, you will need to use custom CSS to use a font not featured in the picker, which requires custom code outside of what Out of the Sandbox supports. Please note that this will not add the font to the drop-down menus or the Shopify font picker throughout the customize theme control panel.įor newer versions of themes that use Shopify's built-in font picker, which is required by Shopify, there is no way to add fonts to the font picker menu. If you would like to use that font for headings, you can add this to the bottom of the file: Then apply that font to the various elements using custom CSS in the file (also in the Assets folder). Adding additional fonts to Shopify's font picker menus is not possible at this time. The latest versions of all Out of the Sandbox themes include integration with Shopify's font picker, which may make it unnecessary for you to use the steps below. While we're unable to help out with these aspects of Custom Fonts from the Help Center directly, we do have a number of recommended experts to assist with these changes.
